Location:

The residence is located along ‘Via Aldesago’ in the hillside neighbourhood of Aldesago, on the western flank of Mont Brè. The local village funicular railway stop is just 2 minutes’ walk away and forms part of the 2nd section which operates to Albonago, Aldesago and on to Brè Villaggio, which is located on the eastern flank and forms the scenic summit of Mont Brè. The funicular line also links to a lower station in the Lugano suburb of Cassarate, via a changeover to a different section of the line at Suvigliana. The summit Mont Brè can also be reached on foot in 44 minutes (via 2 local authentic restaurants along the way)!

Guests are also well placed for sightseeing along the Lugano lakeshore below, with the Museo delle Culture and Ancient Olive trail to Gandria within an 8 minutes’ drive away. The picturesque lakeshore leads in a short distance by car to the beautiful Parco Civico, Tennis club, Casino, Lido and buzzing café-lined lakeshore of Lugano city, as well as to its Central train and bus station (all within 17 minutes’ drive away from the holiday home). Lugano city airport is 28 minutes’ drive away.

Nearby Como (62 minutes’ drive away) offers a wealth of shopping and dining opportunities too, alongside easy road and train links to Milan and bus-ferry-road links to the touristic Central Lake.
